 | The 12th Annual Women In Distress SAFEWALK-RUN 5K was held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Markham Park in Sunrise Florida. 60 teams and over 1,000 individuals came together to help end domestic violence. Team BankAtlantic was on hand Saturday morning to support this worthy cause. Team BankAtlantic raised over $4,000 for Women in Distress and was the Top Fundraising Team! |

 See the winners at: www.cbs4.com/kindness | BankAtlantic and Neighbors4Neighbors teamed up with the libraries of Miami-Dade and Broward counties to find artwork for new Kindness cards. You voted for the winners and now the winning drawings are featured on Kindness Cards distributed throughout Dade and Broward County. The winning artists received a youth bank account at BankAtlantic, complete with a starting deposit of $100. |

 | On July 23rd, thirteen BankAtlantic volunteers helped sort and pack boxes of food for Feeding South Florida, a not-for-profit organization that empowers other South Florida not-for-profit organizations to assist people in need and improve their lives. Volunteers also helped sort school supplies for their Kids Count store where Title 1 school teachers shop for classroom supplies free of charge. |
Santiago Quintana Elected Chairman of | |
 | BankAtlantic’s Senior Vice President and Regional Executive, Santiago Quintana, was unanimously elected to be Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (“SFLHCC”). His three-year term began in June when the installation of the new Board took place. Congratulations Santiago! |

 | BankAtlantic's VP Relationship Manager, Alberto Noguel, was named President of his Business Network International (BNI) Chapter - BNI University of South Miami. BNI is the largest business networking organization in the world. He was elected by the BNI Membership Committee on April 1st and will be serving a 6 month term. Congratulations Alberto! |

The award, presented at The Art of Found Objects, the organization’s annual charity auction, was in recognition and appreciation of Mrs. Lefebvre’s outstanding contributions and long time commitment to The Education Fund.
