Foundation Guidelines
Read our Community Report for additional information about our contributions.

The BankAtlantic Foundation supports four key areas.

  1. Community and Economic Development
  2. Human Services
  3. Education
  4. The Arts

The BankAtlantic Foundation considers requests for specific projects, as well as for general operations. The majority of the grants made by the Foundation falls within the $1000 - $3000 range.

Eligibility
Funding consideration will be given to programs where BankAtlantic has a business presence. The Foundation will fund an organization one time per calendar year, up to three consecutive years. After three consecutive years of support, an organization may reapply after a one-year non-funding period.

Funding cycle and response time
From March 30th to October 31st, the Foundation reviews proposals in the order in which they are received. The Foundation reviews applications, first for completeness and eligibility, then for funding. The Foundation may request additional information and/or a site visit. Within 90 days of submitting an application, the organization will be notified in writing of the Foundation’s decision. The review process may take longer. The BankAtlantic Foundation considers requests for specific projects and general operations.
