Executive Named to YMCA Executive Board

We are proud to announce that Valerie C. Toalson has been named as a board member for the YMCA of Broward County. Toalson is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BankAtlantic Bancorp and BankAtlantic. Read more

 

BankAtlantic is proud to partner with the YMCA of Broward County. For years, BankAtlantic colleagues have been involved in programs like Activate America, and the BankAtlantic Health and Wellness Program, that promote healthy lifestyles for children, families and individuals.  

A number of colleagues also contribute their personal time as board and committee members of various branches of the YMCA of Broward County. BankAtlantic provides significant support and funding for YMCA projects such as the Hollywood Center renovation, the annual YMCA golf tournament and the annual YMCA scholarship campaign.

Since 2005, the bank has partnered with the East branch to manage the BankAtlantic fitness center and holds numerous events and promotions at the Support Center throughout the year.

Three BankAtlantic colleagues were honored at the YMCA of Broward County’s 2008 Annual Meeting with awards for “Partner of the Year” for East Broward, “Volunteer of the Year” for West Broward, and “Volunteer of the Year” for East Broward.
