Additional Security Features for Online Banking
Additional Security Features for Online Banking
Making Online Banking even more convenient and secure for you—totally free.
BankAtlantic is committed to providing you with secure and convenient online access to your accounts through Free Online Banking Bill Pay. Your protection and peace of mind are our highest priorities, so we’re adding additional security features to help you monitor your online accounts.
Additional access authentication feature
BankAtlantic implemented an additional access authentication feature that may, from time to time, prompt you to answer your security verification question(s) as an additional step to logging onto Online Banking Bill Pay.
Please take a moment to prepare for this additional layer of security by reviewing your security verification question and answer in the “Manage Your Accounts” section under the “User Services” tab to ensure they are up-to-date. That’s all there is to it!
"Notify Me" service
BankAtlantic will also expand your ability to manage and monitor the status of your accounts with the addition of our “Notify Me” service that allows you to receive email notification of the following transactions:
- Account Overdrawn
- Balance is above and/or below a designated dollar amount
- Check number(s) paid
- Deposit Made
- Transaction above a designated amount
- A message has been received in your inbox
You will receive an email notification from BankAtlantic to your external email account when the "Notify Me" thresholds that you setup are exceeded or whenever you have received a message in your online banking box.
You may choose to setup “Notify Me” alerts by clicking on the “User Services” tab, link to “Notify Me” under the “User Preferences” section, and designate which transaction(s) should activate alerts via email.
At BankAtlantic, we are dedicated to making your financial life safer and easier.
