Place a Stop Payment
Place a stop payment.
If you have a personal account and need to place a stop payment on a check, you can choose to --
Logon to Online Banking & Bill Pay
- Click on User Services in the top navigation bar
- Click on the Stop Payment link under "Other Service Requests"
Call 1-800-741-1700 and use the automated Telephone Banking system*
- Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish
- Press 1 to access your account information
- Press 1 for existing account
- Enter your account number
- Press 5 to access account services
- Press 3 to access transaction options
Stop by a branch -- open 7 days a week
Speak to a Banking Representative seated at a desk who will assist you with your request.
Please provide the following information when you place a stop payment:
- Payment date
- Amount
- Check number to stop
- Reason stopped
- Payee name
