Place a stop payment.

If you have a personal account and need to place a stop payment on a check, you can choose to --

Logon to Online Banking & Bill Pay

  1. Click on User Services in the top navigation bar
  2. Click on the Stop Payment link under "Other Service Requests"

Call 1-800-741-1700 and use the automated Telephone Banking system*

  1. Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish
  2. Press 1 to access your account information
  3. Press 1 for existing account
  4. Enter your account number
  5. Press 5 to access account services
  6. Press 3 to access transaction options

Stop by a branch -- open 7 days a week

Speak to a Banking Representative seated at a desk who will assist you with your request.

Please provide the following information when you place a stop payment:

  • Payment date
  • Amount
  • Check number to stop
  • Reason stopped
  • Payee name
