How do I make my Owl Card work as a BankAtlantic ATM card?
Bring your Owl Card to BankAtlantic’s FAU Branch at 777 Glades Road in Boca Raton and associates at the branch can add ATM functionality to your Owl Card. This is a free service.
Can I view my account transactions online?
Yes. As a BankAtlantic customer, you get free online access to your account. After you open an account with your FAU branch, sign up for free Online Banking to instantly view transactions, transfer funds and get images of your cleared checks.

When are funds available after deposit?

How do I change my address?
Online Banking & Bill Pay customers – Log on to Online Banking & Bill Pay, click on Additional Services, and then click on the Change of Address/Phone link and update the address/phone fields. Your request will be processed within three (3) business days and you will receive confirmation by email using the email address we have on file within your Online Banking service.
If you do not use Online Banking, print out/complete this
Change of Address form, and mail it to the address listed on the form.Or, visit the nearest branch.
How is my available balance different from my account balance?
Within Online Banking & Bill Pay, you will see two types of balances: “Account Balance” and “Available Balance”. The “Account” balance is the amount of funds showing in your account as of that date and time. The “Available” balance is the amount of funds showing in your account minus any deposits, Debit Card purchase holds and transit checks cashed against your account. The “Available” balance does not include any overdraft or line of credit funds.
On ATM receipts, the “Account Balance” is referred to as “Current Balance”.
If I am not a U.S. citizen, can I open an account at BankAtlantic?
Yes. Please bring your passport to the nearest BankAtlantic branch to open an account. You will need to fill out a W-8 Form. You may open checking, savings and money market accounts, CDs and investment products.
How do I close my account?
BankAtlantic is sorry to hear that you want to close your account. Constantly striving to make banking more convenient and friendly, BankAtlantic encourages you to call 1-888-7-DAY-BANK or visit the nearest branch to let us know how to assist you.
To close your account, please provide a signed withdrawal slip, a signed BankAtlantic check, or a signed written letter of your request to close an account. Be sure to have all account owners sign the letter and tell us how you would like to receive your balance. You may take one of these items to the nearest branch or mail to:
