Can I get a Debit Card or ATM card with my BankAtlantic account?

Yes. For checking account customers, BankAtlantic offers the Gold Debit Card with the MasterCard® logo, which you can use at ATMs, and at any merchants who accept Debit MasterCard.

The Gold Debit Card comes with a variety of benefits.

BankAtlantic's Home Equity Line of Credit comes with a free FastAccess Equity Card that you can use for cash advances or purchases.

For money market and savings account customers, you may request an ATM card.


How long does it take to receive a Gold Debit Card or ATM card in the mail?When you first open an account and sign up to receive a Gold Debit Card or ATM card, you can expect to receive it in the mail within 10 business days.

If your existing BankAtlantic Debit Card or ATM card was lost or stolen, you will receive a card to replace it within 10 business days after reporting it to BankAtlantic.


What if there are two or more signers on my checking account?

You will receive separate Debit Card numbers (per personal Gold Debit Cards and Business Cards). Separate cards allow each cardholder's transactions to be listed separately on checking account statements, and it allows you to have separate PIN's.

Can I change the PIN to my Gold Debit Card or ATM card?

Yes. Call the Customer Service Center at 1-800-741-1700. After verifying your information, the BankAtlantic associate will process a PIN reminder mailed to your address.You can also use BankAtlantic branch ATM or visit in person to request a change to your PIN.


What should I do if I forget my Debit Card or ATM card PIN?

Call the Customer Service Center. After verifying your information, the BankAtlantic associate will process a PIN reminder mailed to your address. Or, you can use our Branch/ATM Locator to visit the nearest branch, where a BankAtlantic associate will arrange to have a PIN reminder mailed to your address.


Should I press "Debit" or "Credit" when using the BankAtlantic Debit Card with the MasterCard logo?

At merchants that accept Debit MasterCard, you should always press "CREDIT". Only signature-based purchases (Non PIN) are covered by the special Gold Card benefits and Zero Liability Protection. You should only use your PIN when you want cash back.


What are the fees to use an ATM?

If you are a BankAtlantic customer using a BankAtlantic Debit/ATM Card, it's free to use a BankAtlantic ATM. Find the nearest BankAtlantic ATM by using our website. To use an ATM outside of the BankAtlantic network, the cost is $2.00 plus any surcharge assessed by the ATM owner.


What is the daily withdrawal limit on my ATM card

You may withdraw up to $500 cash per day with your ATM card.


What are the daily withdrawal and purchase limits on my Gold Debit Card and/or BusinessCard Debit Card?

You may withdraw up to $500 in cash per day, and make signed purchases of up to $2,500 per day with your Gold Debit Card or Business Card Debit Card.


What should I do if my ATM/Debit Card is lost or stolen?

Call the Customer Service Center at 1-800-741-1700 as soon as possible. Please review the Electronic Funds Transfer section of Important Disclosures for details about reporting lost or stolen cards.


Will all ATMs accept a deposit into my BankAtlantic account?

No, only ATM's at BankAtlantic branches can accept deposits to your BankAtlantic accounts.
