Tenet South Florida Opens a New On-Site Medical Clinic at BankAtlantic Headquarters
CORAL SPRINGS, FL - March 25, 2010 – Tenet South Florida, a region of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC), is proud to announce the opening of a new Health & Wellness by Tenet on-site medical clinic at the BankAtlantic (NYSE: BBX) headquarters located at 2100 West Cypress Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale.

The clinic officially opened on February 25th. Patients are receiving medical care from Dr. Anthony Maher, a board certified family physician with Tenet Florida Physician Services, and a member of the medical staff at North Shore Medical Center – FMC Campus in Lauderdale Lakes. Dr. Maher’s focus is in general wellness, screening and preventative medicine. Services offered at the clinic include immunizations, physicals and consultations. Dr. Maher also works with patients who suffer from chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma.
The clinic features the same set up as a traditional doctor’s office and includes a waiting room, physician’s office, nurse’s station and two exam rooms. The clinic accepts most insurance plans, but serves BankAtlantic employees only.
