BANKATLANTIC APPOINTS DOUGLAS A. TUTTLE TO PRESIDENT OF ITS TAMPA BAY REGION
Fort Lauderdale, FL – July 23, 2009 -- BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, today announced the appointment of Douglas A. Tuttle to President of its Tampa Bay region. In his new role, Mr. Tuttle is responsible for complete oversight of BankAtlantic’s Tampa Bay market operations including the community bank branches, consumer banking, small business and residential lending activities in that area. Additionally, the Regional Market Managers and Business Bankers from the Tampa Bay region will report to Mr. Tuttle.
“Doug is truly a seasoned veteran of banking with over twenty five years of executive banking experience directly in the Tampa Bay marketplace. Mr. Tuttle’s career spanned over twenty five years in the banking industry prior to joining BankAtlantic, including nine years as Market President. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Mr. Tuttle is involved with a number of community and charity organizations and currently serves as a route volunteer for “Meals on Wheels.”
