BANKATLANTIC APPOINTS MICHELLE HARRIS
TO MARKET MANAGER

          FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – June 2, 2009 – BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, announced the appointment of Michelle V. Harris to Market Manager at the Roosevelt Blvd. location.
         “Michelle comes from our own BankAtlantic family and has received its ‘Customer Service Manager of the Year award for 2008’ for her exemplary work,” said Jarett Levan, CEO of BankAtlantic. “We look forward to Michelle’s accomplishments in her new role as Market Manager for the Roosevelt Market.”
         Ms. Harris will manage the daily operations of the “Roosevelt Blvd.” branch location in Pinellas. She is also responsible for retail banking and small to medium sized business development in the surrounding marketplace.
         Ms. Harris holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is very active in many community organizations in the area including volunteering at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, as well as a participant in the March of Dimes Relay for Life.
