BANKATLANTIC APPOINTS REYNALDO J. PERERA TO BRANCH MANAGER

          FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – June 2, 2009 – BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, announced the appointment of Reynaldo J. Perera to Branch Manager.
         Mr. Perera will manage the daily operations of the “Hialeah North, South Florida” branch location in Hialeah and also be responsible for retail banking and small to medium sized business development in the surrounding marketplace.
         Mr. Perera serves many community organizations including the Hialeah Chamber of Commerce.
