BankAtlantic Appoints Stephen B. Cocker To Vice President and Branch Market Manager

          FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – April 22, 2009 -- BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank announced today the appointment of Stephen B. Cocker Vice President and Branch Market Manager for the North St. Petersburg location.

          With 16 years of banking industry experience, Mr. Cocker will be responsible for the management of the North St. Petersburg branch along with developing and growing new business markets.

          Mr. Cocker serves on the Board of Directors of Creative Clay in St. Petersburg and is also a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. He attended the University of Maryland.
