TO VICE PRESIDENT AND MARKET MANAGER

          FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – May 15, 2009 – BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, announced the appointment of Samantha Olsen to Vice President and Market Manager.

         With 21 years of banking experience, Ms. Olsen will manage the daily operations of the “Gulf to Bay” branch location in Clearwater. She is also responsible for retail banking and small to medium sized business development in the surrounding marketplace.
