BANKATLANTIC ADDS NEW EXECUTIVE TO BROWARD COUNTY TEAM

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 24, 2009 – BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, announced today the appointment of David Palmer as senior vice president for North Broward County. Mr. Palmer will oversee 16 BankAtlantic stores in Broward County.

Mr. Palmer has 15 years of experience in banking and insurance industries. Most recently, he was a vice president for BankAtlantic in the Pembroke Pines area. Palmer is a member of the Miramar Chamber of Commerce and an ambassador for the Sunrise Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of BNI International, the world’s largest business networking organization. He holds a degree in professional administration from Barry University.
