BANKATLANTIC COLLECTS HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR PATIENTS AT JOE DIMAGGIO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

SFPC Christmas Toys in the Sun Run and BankAtlantic provide holiday cheer to ill children

Fort Lauderdale - BankAtlantic, Florida’s Most Convenient Bank, is an official toy collection site for the 21st Annual South Florida’s Presidents Council Christmas Toys in the Sun Run. The organization hopes to collect more than 60,000 toys for seriously ill children who’ll spend the holidays at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood.

BankAtlantic stores located in Miami-Dade, Broward and South Palm Beach counties will serve as toy drop sites from now until December 7. For a complete store list, visit www.bankatlantic.com/toyrun. The public is encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys appropriate for a child through age 18. Recommended gifts include books, board games, puzzles, hand held games (including batteries), craft kits, building toys, DVDs, CDs and infant items.
