Why so many? Because, to us, nothing's more important than helping our associates grow. Some of Our Great Benefits Include:

HEALTHCARE PLANS

  • We offer PPO and high deductible medical plans with health savings accounts, PPO and DMO dental plans, and a vision care plan (at no additional cost when you enroll for medical) to our associates and their families (including domestic partners). We pay a majority of the cost for associate medical coverage.
  • You can choose the plans that work best for you and your family. Coverage starts* 90 days following your hire date.  To assist you during this transition, we offer a Limited Medical Benefit Plan (including vision) and a network dental plan which is available the first of the month following your date of hire.   After 90 days of full-time employment you may choose a traditional dental plan or a Dental Maintenance Organization plan (DMO).   The Limited Medical Benefit plan (including vision) and network dental plan are also available to part-time associates effective the first of the month following your hire date.
  • BankAtlantic also offers a Health Advocate program which will assist you with finding doctors, and navigating insurance issues including claims resolution.

401(k) INCENTIVE SAVINGS PLAN

  • Our plan is available to you after 3 months of service!
  • Once eligible to participate, employees are immediately vested on their contributions.
  • Associates can contribute up from 1 to 75% of pre-tax eligible earnings, up to the legal maximum.
  • Each participant can choose his or her own investment style, as our plan has different lifestyle options.

FINANCIAL HEALTH

  • From setting up a savings account to planning for retirement, we help our customers with their whole financial picture. We do it for our employees, too. By joining BankAtlantic, you can receive banking services, products and access to resources from one of the state's leading financial providers-that are greatly discounted or free!
  • Full-time associates are eligible to participate in the Healthcare and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending account plans.  Associates may defer up to $5,000 pre-tax annually to help offset their medical and dependent care expenses.
  • Part-time associates with more than 1 year of service and full-time associates with more than 90 days of service are eligible to receive short-term and long-term disability benefits.  The plans pay up to 60% of your base pay, subject to plan limitations and following a waiting period, for up to 11 weeks for Short Term Disability and up to age 65 for an LTD if you become disabled prior to age 60.  Duration of benefits after age 60 is determined by a schedule.

LIFE INSURANCE

  • Basic BankAtlantic-provided coverage equals your annual base pay at no cost to you.   We also provide additional coverage of one times your annual base pay if death occurs as a result of an accident.  Additional coverage is available to purchase at group rates including coverage for your spouse and dependents.
